partnership with parents is key to our work and the Parents' Group is
one of the several forums in which you are invited to come along to
share in talking about the running and direction of the centre.
a month parents and staff get together to talk about ideas, feedback
from other parents, successes and concerns. These meetings are very
relaxed and informal and everyone is welcome.
parent can volunteer to put himself or herself forward as a Parent
Representative. Our Advisory Committee is made up of parents and staff
and the role of the parent members is to act as a link between the
community and the centre.
The Committee meets once every
three months and parent representatives are expected to come to these
meetings. Itís not scary; youíll learn new skills and could even have

least one activity every month, to let other parents and carers know
what is going on and find to out their views on current issues.
We do provide training and ongoing support.
